New, expanded Next Best Action: Enhanced Weight Management Support
We're adding a new medication-assisted weight management pathway
Through Next Best Action, we provide personalised recommendations to clients that identify one behaviour change that can make the biggest impact on their health. Through it, we launched our personalised weight management pathway to support members who are obese or diagnosed with type-2 diabetes in 2021.
Now, we’re enhancing it to provide qualifying Life and Health clients discounted access to clinically proven weight-loss medication Wegovy and Mounjaro. This will form part of our holistic pathway supported by personalised one-to-one coaching provided by our partner Second Nature.

Who qualifies?
Clients with a BMI (Body Mass Index) of 30-plus or clients with a BMI of 25 or more and type-2 diabetes.
What's available?
Access to Second Nature, a digital 12-week programme which includes one-to-one coaching with a nutritionist, wireless weighing scales and recommended recipes. As well as tailored communications, Vitality will provide a points boost for those who participate and complete the pathway as an extra incentive.
Medication-assisted Pathway
Who qualifies?
BMI of 35 or more and at least one weight-related co-morbidity.
What's available?
Including support offered through our Lifestyle Pathway, clients on this pathway get access to Wegovy and Mounjaro medication through Second Nature via Pharmalogic (discounts up to 22%). They can also benefit from one-to-one health coaching for up to 12 months while on the medication.
