Say hello to Employee Challenges
For 20 years, Vitality has helped employers build healthier businesses. Employees with Vitality Health Insurance exercise more, report higher job satisfaction, and are more productive.1 And now we’re launching Employee Challenges to take this even further.
Employee Challenges are designed to encourage employees to get more active together, in teams. Leveraging Vitality’s expertise in behaviour change, Employee Challenges use social interactions between colleagues and a smart digital experience to supercharge engagement and generate healthy behaviour in the workplace.
Key features
Easy for employers to set up and manage
Challenges can be set up and run by employers through our new Employer Zone. Employees receive an email inviting them to join the Challenge in the Vitality Member app.
Themes, leaderboards and trophies
Challenges will have a theme to inspire teams to engage. Employees can track their performance on individual and team leaderboards, plus earn badges and trophies in the app for their achievements.
Team Boosts to motivate staff
Challenges are filled with bonus features to keep teams motivated. This includes allowing teams to unlock bonuses if they reach specific Team Targets and an Accelerator to boost their performance on a specific day.
Introducing Employee Challenges...

Employers are winners, too
“Given the productivity challenges we face in the UK, a significant opportunity exists for employers who prioritise and take action to support the health and wellbeing of their staff. As well as benefiting employees – who are encouraged to get more active – Employee Challenges will also drive significant benefits for employers, making their employees healthier, more productive, and more aware of the health and wellbeing benefits on offer to them.”
