We're adding two new benefits to support your protection clients when they need to claim
NEW Neurological Recovery Pathway on Income Protection
Our Recovery Benefit, launched in 2023, provides unlimited access to rehabilitation support to get claimants back to work. Originally covering cancer, musculoskeletal and mental health-related claims, we are expanding support for both new and existing members at the point of claim with a new Neurological Recovery Pathway. With this added, three out of four claims will now be covered as part of our recovery pathways powered by private healthcare services. What's more, when they go down a Recovery Pathway during their deferred period, we'll waive their premium for up to three months.
NEW Advanced Funeral Pledge
Five years ago, the industry made a bold commitment to support families by paying claims earlier to avoid delays due to probate. Now, we are ready to take that commitment even further.
Immediate support
We understand that obtaining medical evidence can take time. However, we believe that support shouldn’t have to wait. We will pay as soon as we receive evidence of death, with no need to wait for further medical evidence to be supplied.
Introducing our Advanced Funeral Pledge
We will advance £2,000 of our existing £10,000 funeral pledge to ensure that immediate funeral costs are covered, giving your clients timely financial support during a difficult time.
New and existing clients
This benefit will apply to new clients for all causes of death. We are also extending this benefit to existing clients where the cause of death is the result of an accident.*
*Available to new clients for all causes of death after being in-force for two years. Advanced payment not available for plans within trust.
