From home to the high street

Everyday support, wherever you are

Clients today expect care to be accessible, convenient and responsive to their everyday health needs.

Whether they want to check symptoms online, access a digital consultation, speak to a GP by video, get a prescription or book a face-to-face appointment, our members can access a broad range of healthcare services through Care Hub and our new partnership with Boots.

This is transforming how health insurance is delivered: from a reactive product to one that supports earlier intervention and quicker treatment decisions as part of a better healthcare experience.

INTRODUCING: GP services at Boots

Combining digital and face-to-face care with prescriptions all in one service

Access to primary care remains one of the biggest challenges facing UK healthcare. While virtual GP services have improved convenience and speed, there are occasions when clinicians need additional health information to make the most informed treatment decisions.

That's why we're introducing Vitality Health Zones to selected Boots stores from 2027 to bridge the gap between digital and face-to-face care for VitalityHealth members.

By combining in-person health assessments with a virtual GP consultation and prescriptions all in a single appointment, this new service will give your client access to clinical support, closer to home and on the high street.

Even more options for your clients

Coming soon... Symptom Checker and Anytime Consultations will offer guidance and support around the clock, while members can get 20% off private prescriptions for selected conditions through Boots Online Doctor. We’ve also extended our video GP opening hours to include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

From 2027, pharmacy-led Vitality appointments in selected Boots stores will give clients more choice around access to care.

Cancer support before, during and after treatment

As more people are living with and beyond cancer2, we’ve strengthened our existing Cancer Support Programme through our new partnership with Perci Health, the UK’s largest virtual cancer clinic backed by Macmillan Cancer Support.

Now all Health members and eligible Life members* can access personalised support for 12 months, involving lifestyle coaching alongside appropriate physical and mental health support.

In addition to the support provided by Vitality's Oncology Member Care Team, which helps members navigate all aspects of their cancer care, clients will also have a dedicated Cancer Nurse Specialist through Perci Health's personalised cancer nurse service by their side, helping them understand treatment, manage side effects and navigate the wider impact of cancer on everyday life, so they feel informed, reassured and supported throughout their entire cancer journey. Working alongside a member's existing healthcare team, the nurse will help them to:

  • Understand their diagnosis and treatment options
  • Prepare for appointments and ask the right questions
  • Manage side effects and treatment-related challenges
  • Access specialist support services where appropriate
  • Navigate the emotional, practical and day-to-day impact of cancer, addressing the wider impact cancer can have on their lives
  • Build confidence returning to work and everyday activities following treatment

*Available to life members claiming on Life Cover for terminal illness, Serious Illness Cover for stage 4 cancer claims and Income Protection through Vitality's Recovery Pathway.
